Does your child need support in Math, English, Science or any other academic courses? Are they bored with the current material in some of their classes, because they are ahead? Axiom Learning can help with either situation! Our expert faculty will discover your child’s individual strengths, and use them to help develop their skills in subjects they find more difficult or to challenge them in an enrichment setting. We combine subject support or enrichment (including assistance with AP courses) with study skills and organization techniques so that your child is not only learning content, but they are also developing skills for lifelong success. Taking a standardized test soon and not sure where to begin preparations? Axiom Learning in Menlo Park is prepared to help you reach your testing goals! We begin with a FREE diagnostic, which we analyze for both your strengths and areas where you can make the greatest improvement. We will then create a customized learning plan specific to your needs. Our students have raised their SAT scores by over 300 points and their ACT scores by over 8 points. Our increases are 5 times the industry average, and have led to students to acceptances at Harvard, Stanford, Yale, and Princeton. Give us a call today to schedule your diagnostic or to discuss how we can best support your efforts!
At Axiom Learning, you will find a faculty team dedicated to your child’s success and interested in their overall well-being. By administering our best-in-class diagnostics and using them to create targeted, engaging lessons for your student, our faculty works to make sure your child receives the best support possible for their individual objectives. Our process is as follows:
Our customized assessments assess where each student is RIGHT NOW across a wide range of sub-topics. Whether you are getting ready to take the SAT, need targeted support in academic subjects like Math, Science and English or need to understand how your Special Learner can best be supported, our diagnostics point you in the right direction to design the most effective learning plans for your child.
Our diagnostic tools provide our faculty and education team the data we need to design customized learning plans which efficiently address your child's specific deficits, challenge and extend their strengths and focus on the topics and areas they would most benefit from (while also saving time by not wasting valuable time on areas which won't help your child). We revisit these plans a MINIMUM of every 8 weeks to make sure your child's support is always targeting their specific needs in real time.
Supported by our education team, our dedicated faculty members will work with your child to develop the processes and frameworks needed to achieve their objectives. Your faculty members are never alone in helping your child succeed - all of our faculty members meet on a weekly basis to discuss EVERY student’s learning plan and check in with our global education support team at least twice every month to ensure they are using the most effective tools we have available.
You should always know WHAT we are doing with your child and WHY we are doing it. We have the most robust reporting processes in the industry to ensure you are properly informed. We regularly call all of our parents and provide extensive progress reports every semester which provide a great deal of detail and recommendations for each of our students. We are also always happy to meet with you to explain the progress we are seeing and areas of continued focus moving forward.
Zdravo! Guten Tag! Bon jour! Hello! My name is Adela Čajić, and I am beyond thrilled to be a part of the Axiom Team! I am a graduate of Stanford University with a degree in Human Biology and a minor in German Studies. My area of concentration within Human Biology was Language & Learning which allowed me to delve into the foundations of learning from many different perspectives: neurological, psychological, and linguistic just to name a few. Outside the classroom, I have a serious case of wanderlust. I love to travel, learn new languages, and share what I’ve learned with others! I speak Bosnian, German, and French and hope to learn even more one day. I am elated for the opportunity to apply what I learned from all these experiences to helping kids expand their own educations!
Hi world! My name is Shawn Aminirad, and I am ecstatic to be a part of the Bay Area’s Axiom Team! I was born and raised in the Bay Area and stuck around for college graduating from UC Berkeley with a double major in Social Welfare and English, where I studied educational inequality, socio-legal studies, and, outside the classroom, how students strategize and prioritize their study schedules differently. Before joining the Axiom team, I spent a year working for CollegeSpring, a nonprofit that provides SAT prep to underserved student populations. This was a formative experience for me, as it helped solidify my ideas about learning—that it is a social endeavor and an ongoing process, not something that is simply limited to a classroom. I speak Farsi and Spanish, and love helping my students practice or learn new languages! Outside of my educational endeavors I like to research Batman, China’s Three Kingdoms era, and how to teach my dog to walk himself.
Howdy all! My name is Nate Zieg and I am stoked to lend my energy to the Bay Area's Axiom Learning team! I've lived all over the United States and even Europe, but most immediately I called San Diego my home. The beaches were warm, the sun shined bright, and the waves were pristine, but now I've thrown on my thickest wetsuit to come surf the beaches of Northern California! I graduated from UC Davis with a major in International Relations with a focus in Environmental Studies, People, and Nationalities. Before I found my awesome new home with Axiom Learning, I was a Tour Guide and Public Advisor at UC Davis. The respect I witnessed within the classroom from my educators was what really helped me excel moving forward and I want to give that same positive attitude, patient understanding, and creative twist that helped me grasp concepts back to my students! My favorite subjects to teach are Spanish, Literature, Sciences, and History, but I don't shy away from Math nor Test / College Prep either! Outside of work and all things learning, I love anything I can do in the water such as surfing, swimming, and diving, but I also love to cook as well as read, learn, and get lost in the fantastic worlds of books like Lord of the Rings and Don Quixote!
Hello, my name is Marcelo Souza and I am a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy (ABD) at Claremont Graduate University. I grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and I came to study in the U.S. where I received a B.A. in Philosophy from Biola University, and a M.Div. from Westminster Seminary California. Throughout my academic and professional career, teaching has been at the center of my life. I have taught in very diverse settings – graduate school, high schoolers, academic contexts, etc. – and I have worked with adults, teenagers and children, both in the U.S. and abroad. Learning and teaching are my passion. Also, I am a father of two wonderful children who are now 9 and 11, and my experience teaching them has been one that enriched me more than anything. I am very excited to be a part of Axiom Learning and I look forward to working with your children!
