Our customized assessments assess where each student is RIGHT NOW across a wide range of sub-topics. Whether you are getting ready to take the SAT, need targeted support in academic subjects like Math, Science and English or need to understand how your Special Learner can best be supported, our diagnostics point you in the right direction to design the most effective learning plans for your child.
Our diagnostic tools provide our faculty and education team the data we need to design customized learning plans which efficiently address your child's specific deficits, challenge and extend their strengths and focus on the topics and areas they would most benefit from by not wasting valuable time on areas which won't help your child. We revisit these plans a MINIMUM of every 8 weeks to make sure your child's support is always targeting their specific needs in real time.
Supported by our education team, our dedicated faculty members will work with your child to develop the processes and frameworks needed to achieve their objectives. Your faculty members are never alone in helping your child succeed - all of our faculty members meet on a weekly basis to discuss EVERY student’s learning plan and check in with our global education support team at least twice every month to ensure they are using the most effective tools we have available.
You should always know WHAT we are doing with your child and WHY we are doing it. We have the most robust reporting processes in the industry to ensure you are properly informed. We regularly call all of our parents and provide extensive progress reports every semester which provide a great deal of detail and recommendations for each of our students. We are also always happy to meet with you to explain the progress we are seeing and areas of continued focus moving forward.
Hello Everyone! My name is Nick Beinor and I'm very excited to be a part of the Axiom Learning team. I grew up in a small, more-cows-than-people kind of town called Sutton, Massachusetts before attending Boston College where I earned my B.A. in History. My specific area of study was with a focus on the "Long Nineteenth Century" – the 125 years between the French Revolution and the First World War which, despite its name, is a really thrilling era. I was fortunate enough to have been able to publish a book about this period, and am further pursuing my passion for this topic at Harvard University where I am working towards my M.A in History. When not working with students or attending classes, I can be found pursuing my other great passion – music: either with the Boston College Marching Band or playing my Euphonium in the community's Symphonic Band. I am very excited to meet you and I look forward to working with your child!
My name is DanThuy Chu, and education reform is my passion. I graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Sociology and a focus on immigration and education. After graduating, I simultaneously proceeded to complete a two-year commitment with Teach For America while also earning my Master’s in Secondary Education from Johns Hopkins University School of Education. Working as a classroom teacher truly solidified my passion for teaching and education reform. As a classroom teacher, I had the pleasure to work with wonderfully talented students, collaborate with hard-working individuals, and gain valuable insight into the current education landscape. In my second year of teaching, with the incredible support of my school's administration, I was nominated for Rookie Teacher of the Year and my region's Sue Lehmann Fellowship. My time in the classroom allowed me to reflect on the amazing things that are currently happening in education while also identifying systems that are currently failing many students across the nation. Axiom Learning has been a natural home for me after my classroom experience as our educational philosophy emphasizes identifying exactly where our students need support so we can help them grow where they need the most support—exactly what we need in the classroom setting. Every student has a story that is waiting to be told and education is the key to unlocking this story and every child's potential. I look forward to working with you and your child at Axiom Learning to help them unleash their full potential!
Hi! My name is Erik Broess and I’m passionate about Music, Science, and Education. As a student at Tufts University, I majored in Biology and Music while embracing every teaching opportunity available. I discovered my passion for education while tutoring for the introductory Biology courses at Tufts. During this time, I worked with researchers in the Department of Education to explore pedagogical methods which informed my own personal teaching style. This guidance culminated during my senior year when I planned and taught my own course on Music Copyright Law, for which I was awarded the university’s competitive Marshall Hochhauser Prize. At Axiom, I combine these lessons to provide a unique learning experience that meets each student where they are and helps them reach their personal goals. I’m excited to work with your child to foster a lifelong love of learning!
Hi, I'm Michael Miller, and I'm excited to be a part of your child's learning experience! Education is my passion and purpose. As an undergraduate, I was a member of the inaugural cohort for UCLA’s California Teach program before moving north for an M.A. from Stanford's Teacher Education Program. After graduating, I moved to the east coast to trade in the sweltering heat of the California deserts for New England's wonderful white winters. As an educator, I've found the value of strong communication and interpersonal skills to be a key for student success and work to serve as a GPS for my students. To get to each student's destination, I learn what the students already know, how they prefer to learn and chart a path to travel together. We not only discover what they like but also gain an understanding of multiple ways to solve a problem. Reflecting on adjustments needed to obtain each goal builds the critical thinking skills they will need to be successful throughout life. I look forward to helping your child along their journey!
